He is survived by: his significant other Elana Smith of Seymour; his children, Shane Cowan (Heather) of Columbus, Joshua Cowan of Shelbyville, Tony Smith of Columbus and Brandilynn Quick (Andrew) of Seymour; his grandchildren, Blake Cowan, Riley Cowan, Rece Cowan, Evelyn Davis and Jordan Quick; his former wife Darlene Cowan of Shelbyville; his sister Judy Burton of Columbus; and his sister-in-law Billie Lemley of Columbus. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
