He is survived by: his brothers, Dan Upton (Toni) of Brightwood, VA and Shawn Upton of Seymour, IN; his siblings' children, Janet Sawyer-Henshaw (Joe) of Reva, VA and Daniel Upton Jr. (Gracie) of Harrisonburg, VA; his great-niece Lacey Henshaw; and his great-nephews, Konner Sawyer, Carson Henshaw and Daniel Upton III.
