She was predeceased by: her parents, Olen Chandler and Doris Chandler (Schmidt); her son Michael Emily; and her sister Carol Ann Hunsucker. She is survived by: her husband Robert Emily; her daughter Elisabeth Tatom (George); her brother Randall Chandler; and her daughter-in-law Sallie Emily. She is also survived by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Voss and Sons Funeral and Cremation Services (316 N Chestnut St, Seymour, IN 47274). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery (300 Block Vehslage Rd, Seymour, IN 47274).
Memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church, Immanuel Lutheran School or the Humane Society of Jackson County.
