She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Stichter and Gladys Wead Stichter; her husband Cody Carnes; and her brother Bruce Stichter. She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Hauf (Michael) and Staci Estes (Roger); her grandchildren, Cody Estes (Hannah Surber), Korey Estes (Alexia Rae Rieckers), Kiley Estes and Kelsey Estes; her great grandchild Hazel Rae Estes; and her brother Jerry Stichter. She is also survived by three sisters-in-law; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Burkholder Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes (419 N Chestnut St, Seymour, IN 47274).
Memorial donations may be made to Psi Iota Xi Sorority or to a fund for her great-granddaughter's future education.
