Louis J. Piet Obituary
We announce the death of Louis J. Piet in Seymour, Indiana, who passed away on October 7, 2026, at the age of 92. Louis will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Piet and Antoneca Piet; his wife Wilma Gill Piet; his former wife Ora Helton; and his brothers, Frank Piet, Jr., Reyes Piet, Ralph Piet, Irwin Piet and Lonnie Piet.
He is survived by: his daughters, Debra Hoey (Michael), Marcella Donohue (Bill) and Cynthia Cruz (James); and his stepchildren, Kathy Fox (Randy), Kerrin Hester Jr. (Cheryl), Craig Hester (Treasa) and Eric Hester (Monica). He is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren and thirty great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the American Martyrs Catholic Church (270 S Bond St, Scottsburg, IN 47170).
