It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Morris Joseph Hirtzel of Seymour, Indiana, who passed away on April 6, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son James R. "Rick" Hirtzel; his grandchild Danika Merrie-Kaye Collins; and his close friend Molly Woods. He is survived by: his children, Joseph "Joe" R. Hirtzel of Seymour, Karl Hirtzel (Diane) of Brownstown, Michael Webb of Bedford, Leeann Kelley (Michael) of Scipio and Katrina Hirtzel of Seymour; his sisters, Theresa Dowling of Plymouth, MA, Clara May "Mazy" Miller (Robert) of Gypsum, CO, Betsy Hauenchild (Frank) of Crete, IL, Joyce Hansen (Ralph) of Lake Forest, IL, Lucinda Bastin of Bloomington and Rose Lewendowski (Tom) of Portage, IL; and his daughter-in-law Julie Hirtzel of Seymour, IN. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
