He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Herbert D. Cockerham and Anna M. Cockerham (Wetzel); his wife Cindy Cockerham (Bryant); his children, Tammi M. Best (Billy), Randy "Dee" Cockerham and Gary Gayhart (Sherry); and his sisters, Sharron Baker and Brenda Campbell.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Voss and Sons Funeral and Cremation Services (316 N Chestnut St, Seymour, IN 47274). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Riverview Cemetery (1603 Shields Ave, Seymour, IN 47274).
