He was predeceased by: his parents, Spencer Friend and Francis Friend (Marcum); his wife Neila Jean Donnells; and his brother Rodney Friend. He is survived by: his son Victor Kevin (Carolyn); his friends, Columbus, Mark Allen (LeeAnn) and Seymour; his grandchildren, Riley Stuckwisch (Craig), Alexandra McCarter (K. J.), Delaney Tennille (Kyle), Zachary Friend (Katie Copetas), Samuel Friend and Luke Friend; his great grandchildren, Hayes Stuckwisch and Oliver Stuckwisch; his sister Joyce; his brother-in-law Bill Chasteen; his brother Keith; and his sisters-in-law, Debra Friend and Jodie Friend.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Redeemer Lutheran Church (504 N Walnut St, Seymour, IN 47274). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be given to Redeemer Lutheran Church Building Fund or the Redeemer Lutheran Church Foundation.
