He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles "Peck" Murphy and Verna Murphy (Keller); his wife Norma Jean Murphy; his siblings, Frank Allen Murphy, Robert Murphy, James "Sonny" Murphy and Lindia Brock; and his siblings-in-law, Janet Murphy and Jude Barnthouse.
He is survived by: his daughter Tina Hann of Seymour, Indiana; his granddaughters, Casey McCoy (Jera) of Seymour and Karley Bays (Jeremy) of Seymour; his great grandchild Harmony Baughman; and his siblings, Kathryn Barnthouse of Seymour, Roy K. Murphy of Seymour and Harold Murphy of Seymour.
