He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert C. Staats, Sr. and Delores Jones Staats. He is survived by: his wife Vickie McIntyre Staats of Seymour; his siblings, Cheryl Ridgway of Williamstown, WV, Aggie Hundley (Craig) of Decatur, AL and Alan Staats (Barbara) of Boliver, WV; his nephews, Jeffrey, Anthony Ridgway (Megan) of Williamstown, WV and Brett Ridgway (Michelle) of Vienna, WV; his stepmother Carol Staats of Loris, SC; and his stepdaughter Rebecca Taylor (Derek). He is also survived by several step grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Bob's memory to the North Vernon Vet to Vet Group or the local Animal Shelters.
