He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Oral, Lavera Morrison, Lois and Everette Allman; his father Harry "Butch" Allman; his brothers, Darren and David Allman; his stepfather Daniel Deppe; and his stepbrother Darren Deppe.

He is survived by: his mother Patricia June Morrison Allman; his son Greggory Allman; his siblings, Christine Staley, Douglas Allman and Donny Allman; his grandson Jaxon Allman; his nieces and nephews, Jacob Lane, Lara Lane, Savannah Staley, Brittany Gay, Piper Gay and Vincent Jeffers; and his stepdaughters, Chantel Wolf and Kristi Wolf.

Memorials in Shannon's memory may be given through Burkholder Funeral Chapel to the Wounded Warriors Project.
