He was predeceased by: his wives, Mary C. Vaden and Doris V. Vaden; his children, Troy Baron Vaden and Darva J. Zappe; and his grandson Joseph S. Fish.

He is survived by: his children, Tawna Pacheco, Raif Vaden (Tammy) and Kevin Vaden (Tessie); and his grandchildren, Jason Fish (Jeanene), Aislinn Gooden (David), Jodi Watson (Josh), Troy Vaden III (Jessica), Sean Vaden (Carrie), Lindsey Zarate (Pedro), Joshua Pacheco (Leandra), Hillary Pacheco, Kayla Josephson (Travis) and Logan Vaden. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
