He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude R. Jaynes and Fannie F. Jaynes (Wilkerson); his wife Nona M. Caplinger (Hallett); his siblings, Roscoe Jaynes, Dorothy Lucas, Ruth Allman, Norma Strom, Harold Jaynes, Mildred Jaeger and Homer Jaynes; and his great grandchild Laikyn Field.
He is survived by: his children, Dale Caplinger (Maria) of Texas, Debra Caplinger Ward (Chris) of Westfield, IN, Janet Jaynes Davidson (Ernest) of Seymour and Joyce Jaynes Early (Charles) of Mississippi; his sister Sandra K. Jaynes of Seymour Indiana; and his grandchildren, Kandle Hall, Chris Caplinger, Craig Caplinger, Cameron Caplinger, Will Freeman, Brent Freeman and Seth Davidson. He is also survived by Several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
