He was predeceased by: his parents, Semmie Belle Moore and George Bedford Johnson; his son Mark Johnson; his wife Evelyn; his granddaughter Susan Marie Sutton; and his great grandchild Maddux Scott Sutton.
He is survived by: his children, Shirley Sutton (Dana) and Beverly Brudi (Dave); his grandchildren, Carrie Robinson (Don), Cherie Smith (Craig), Rebecca Ruf (Ben) and Scott Sutton (Ashley); his great grandchildren, Jessica, Dakota Smith (Treasure), Jayce Ellis (Nikki), Brent, Sean, Kate, Anne, Beth, Grace, Grant Robinson, Eva Ruf, Ayla and Kora Sutton; his great great grandchildren, Isla, Georgia, Nora Smith-Hurst and Jameson Ellis; his sister-in-law Mary Johnson; Rosie Clayton, Lester Johnson (Linda), Anna Rhode and Linda Kay Edmondson (Ken).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Sharpsville United Methodist Church (228 W Meridian St, Sharpsville, IN 46068). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made in BJ's name to the Sharpsville United Methodist Church.
