He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Clay Hatfield and Retta Hatfield (Johnson); and his brothers, Arnold and Jimmy Hatfield. He is survived by: his children, Nicole Hatfield of New Castle, Emily Moore of Shelbyville and Charles "Bub" Phillips (Chelsea) of Shelbyville; and his siblings, Freeman Hatfield of Avon, Betty Decker (Melburn) of Jabez, Nellie Cole of Lancaster, Jerry Hatfield (Katie) of Jabez, Verna Hatfield (Barbara) of Jabez and Francis Hatfield (Pam) of Russell Springs, Kentucky. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
