He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence E. Platt and Audra A. Platt (Barngrover); his wife Katherine E. Platt (McIntyre); his daughter Patricia Kay Platt; his siblings, Dorothy Gosney, Helen Stanley, Verna Belle Tower, Mary Springer, Janice Copple, Robert Platt and Melvin Platt; and his great grandchild Casey Platt.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Lee Slusser (Mike), Dennis Edgar Platt (Luann), David Alan Platt (Amy) and Darun Wayne Platt (Kristi); his grandchildren, William Slusser (Ariel), Justin Platt (Megan), Emmalyn Imel (Caleb), Charles Slusser (Samantha), Chelsea Brown (Matt), Caleb Platt (Olivia) and Dalton Platt; his great grandchildren, Arabella Slusser, Hadley Platt, Aubrey Platt, Autumn Slusser, Elijah Slusser and Addellyn Brown; and his brother Wayne Platt.
