Eula (Bailey) Purtlebaugh Obituary

We bid farewell to Eula (Bailey) Purtlebaugh of Shelbyville, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 14, 2024 at the age of 94. Eula touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, James W. Bailey and Thelma Bailey (Blackman); her husband John Wesley Purtlebaugh; and her brothers, Winston V. Bailey, Maxton Bailey, Elvin Bailey, Joseph A. Bailey and Samuel A. Bailey.

She is survived by: her sisters, Elease Webster of Fairmount and Lila Bufalini (Warren, family: Christina Burnett) of Connecticut; and her granddaughter Jennifer Hatfield. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
