He was predeceased by: his parents, George C. Arthur and Hurley L. Arthur (Honeycutt); his sons, Zerry May and Kim May; his sister Betty Barnes; and his son-in-law Larry Sullivan.
He is survived by: his children, Floyd Edward Arthur (Brenda) of Salisbury, Debra Irene Horney (David Alan) of Fishers, Susan L. Sullivan of Shelbyville, Kerry May of Shelbyville, Jerry May (Susana) of Wilmington, Larry May of Florida, Brian Hurley (Kelly) of Colorado and Bradley Hurley of South Carolina. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
