Gilbert Pate Jr. Obituary

Gilbert Pate Jr., born on February 3, 1930, passed away on September 13, 2026. Gilbert leaves behind family members and others who acknowledge this loss. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Pate and Odessa Pate; his son Ricky Pate; and his siblings, Eula Bruner, June Martin, Robert "Bob" Pate and Jimmy Pate.

He is survived by: his daughter Debra Roark (Joe); his granddaughters, Kelly Wampler (Jim) and Leslie Thackery (Nick); his great grandchildren, Ali Jameson, Cohen Thackery, Carmen Thackery, Corbin Thackery and Brenley Jameson; and his brother Charles "Pete" Pate. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home (110 E North St, Greensburg, IN 47240). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
