She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles R. Phillips and Grace Phillips Morrison (Tucker); her husband Harry "Allen" Compton; her stepfather Alton "Bud" Morrison; her son Rick Compton; her grandson Nathan Spurling; her great great grandchildren, Dakota and Mason Compton; and her siblings, Gail Phillips and Doris Moore.
She is survived by : her children, David Allen Compton (Michele) of Indianapolis and Gayle Spurling (Michael) of Edinburgh; her grandchildren, Ronnie D. Compton (Tami), Michelle Whitis (Marvin) and Tifany Hensley (Scott); her great grandchildren, Cody Whitis, Beth Whitis Kinman (James), Lance Hensley, Allison Hensley, Tim Compton (Kristen) and Ryan Compton (Amanda); and her great great grandchildren, Addison, Maci, Kaylee, Daisy Mae, Kaysen, Kyra, Karina, Audrey and Liam.
