He was predeceased by: his parents, Cortland Willard and Grace Willard (Snider); his wife Barbara Gayle Ewick; his siblings, Paul Willard, George Willard, Cortland Willard, Gerald Willard, Treva Bardonner and Anna Baldwin; and his son-in-law John Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Carol Fowler (James) of Shelbyville, Sandra Smith (Billy Mohr) of Shelbyville, Terri Miller (Bill) of Indianapolis, Connie Turner of Shelbyville and Bruce Willard (Alicia) of Shelbyville; his siblings, Frank Willard of New Palestine and Geraldine Garriott-Gaskill of New Palestine; and his grandchildren, Sally Fowler Perkins, Brian Fowler, Jamey Smith, Johnny Smith, Jason Smith, Gayle Lyster, Leslie Miller, Greg Turner, Jess Willard, Jeana Craft and Jacob Gahimer. He is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
