He was predeceased by : his father John Cookendorfer. He is survived by : his mother Mary Anne Cookendorfer; his sisters, Peggy Bowling, Chris Newcomer and Jackie Hutson; his sons, John, Alex, Austin Cookendorfer and Aaron Zaenkert; and his pet Max. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, two grandchildren.
