It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine Comstock of Shelbyville, Indiana, born in Shelby, Indiana, who passed away on November 30, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Durbin and Bertha Durbin (Stickford); her husband Edward Comstock; her children, Jerry Wayne Comstock and Edna Kay Fouts; and her brothers, Willard and Fred Durbin.

She is survived by: her children, Thomas Comstock (Dawn) of Shelbyville and Susan Stainbrook (Robert Burke) of Martinsville; and her siblings, Dale Durbin of Homer, Harold Durbin of Blue Ridge, Janice Speheger of Noblesville and Joann Ragsdale of Shelbyville. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
