She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Welage and June Welage Grigsby (Christian). She is survived by: her daughters, Katie Davis Montano (Wil) of Westfield and Kelli McMains of California; her siblings, Steven Welage of New Castle, Anita Reed (Garry) of Shelbyville, Barbara Brown (Matt) of Richmond and Cynthia "Cindy" Szabo of Venice, Florida; and her granddaughters, Eliana June Montano and Kestrel Cramer. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Freeman Family Funeral Homes (819 S Harrison St, Shelbyville, IN 46176). A memorial service was held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
