She was predeceased by: her parents, Wendell Herald and Genevieve Herald; her brother Roger Herald; her daughter Tammy Hart; her grandchildren, Justin Hunt and Jessica Brunning; and her husband Robert L. Smithey.
She is survived by: her brothers, Kenneth Herald, Dale Herald and Lynn Herald; and her children, Robert Smithey (Sherri), Tonya Burcham (Jeff), Lisa David, Cheryl Downey (Rick), Lorna Nunnally (Michael) and David Smithey (Kim). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren.
