She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Conk and Ethel Conk (Scripture); and her husband Donald Fortner. She is survived by: her children, Michael Fortner (Dee) of Milford and Marilyn Pickett (Morris) of Shelbyville; and her grandchildren, Jim Wilkins (Reggie), Amy Morning (Randy), Mike Fortner (Karrie), Heather Powers (Bob) and Renee Pickett. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions can be made to Shelbyville/Shelby County Animal Shelter, or Turning Point Domestic Violence Services of Shelby County, in care of the funeral home.
