He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Hindman and Hazel Hindman (Grayhem); his wives, Carol Hindman (Shumaker), Wanda Hindman (Creek) and Bernice Hindman (Werbe); his son Randy; and his siblings, Raymond Hindman and Jackye Williams.
He is survived by: his children, Kelly Hindman (Karen) of Carmel, IN, Sarah Finkel (David) of Shelbyville and Susan McRoberts (David) of Greenwood Indiana; his daughters-in-law, Pam Hindman (Browning) and Donna Hindman (Benoist); his grandchildren, Kellie, Bruce (Chanda), Abby (Stephen), Kyle (Mary), Molly (Steve), Brent (Kristy), Andrew (Elizabeth), Allie (Alfredo), Emily (PJ), Adam (Courtney) and Elizabeth (Quinton); his great grandchildren, Gabby (Patrick), McKenzie, Kenlie, Madison, Liam, Ricky, Brett, Maggie, Ruby Claire and Willow; his friend Ellave Miles (Della Pavey); Rex.
