He was predeceased by: his parents, George Leonard Chaney and Dorothy Chaney (Hood); and his siblings, Niles Chaney, Sherman Chaney, Benson Chaney, George Chaney and Donna Chaney.
He is survived by: his children, Jeannie Sayre of Shelbyville, Brian Goble (Luz) of Shelbyville and Tony Goble (Caitlyn) of Milroy; his siblings, James Wyatt Chaney of Shelbyville and Caroyn Sue Pike of Shelbyville; and his grandchildren, Kyland Sayre and Corrinna Coleman (Brad). He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
