It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth M. Wright of Shelbyville, Indiana, who passed away on July 11, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ozro Edmondson and Lorena Motz Edmondson; her spouse Jesse Wright; her sister Edith Evans Scudder; her stepdaughter Connie Byrd; her siblings-in-law, Johnny, Jasper, Joe Jr., Jim, Jerry, Deana Giles, Evelyn Martin and Anna Hancher; her nephew Gerald Wright; and her great-nephew Jeff Washburn.
She is survived by: her stepson Guy Randall Wright (Janice) of Greensburg; her grandchildren, Tasha Goodlow (Charles) of Columbus, Dylon Newton of Greensburg, Jordan Wright of Greensburg, Zachary Wright (Alexis) of Greensburg and Shawn Wright (Savannah) of Greensburg; her brother-in-law Jason Wright (Debbie) of Greensburg; and her sibling's children, Mabel Duncan of Greensburg, Tina Florea of Greensburg and Joseph Evans of Greensburg.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Norman Funeral Home (604 Main St, Hope, IN 47246). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Funeral Norman Funeral Home (604 Main St, Hope, IN 47246).
