He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Jean "Betty" Vanderploeg (Batkins); his extended family Mark Mennonno (Jackie) of Indianapolis; his siblings, Rosalie Heaton of Canada and Mike Vanderploeg (Debbie) of Boggstown; his grandchildren, Alex Mennonno of Indianapolis, Brianna of Indianapolis and Erika Mennonno of Indianapolis; and his pet BeBe.
