We bid farewell to Sharon Sue Coffey of Shelbyville, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 27, 2025 at the age of 89. Sharon touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Garner and Vonnie O. Hurst (Land); her husband Don Walter Coffey; her stepfather Francis J. Hurst; and her sisters-in-law, Ruth Garner, Jerry Hurst and Jean Leffew-Waltz.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Jo Thomas (Michael) of Shelbyville, Mark Alan Coffey (Marti) of Shelbyville, Nancy Ann Cossairt (Jim) of Shelbyville and Jeffrey Alan Coffey (Karla) of Shelbyville; her brothers, Hugh W. Garner of Milroy, Allen Hurst of Milroy and Duane F. Hurst (Linda) of Scottsdale, Arizona; her grandchildren, Lucinda Lynn Best, Charles Frederick Thomas (Christy), Sarah Elizabeth Thomas, Craig J. Coffey, Jessica Lynn Cossairt Henderson (Noah), Emily Rose Bailey (Avery), Andrew James Cossairt and Mason Dhane Coffey; and her great grandchildren, Stephen Todd Trowbridge, Elizabeth Jean Trowbridge, Ava Marie Thomas, Jade Best, James R. Cossairt, Norabelle Henderson and Callum Bailey. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
