He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Q. Pierce and Nina W. Perdue Pierce; his daughter Joy Pierce; and his grandson Andrew Lazzell. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean Froedge of Shelbyville; his children, Julie Pierce of Greensburg, Jamey Pierce (Kim) of Flat Rock, Janie Kessler (Robert) of Flat Rock, Jeremy Pierce (Darla) of Flat Rock and Jennifer Smith (Ronnie) of Greensburg; his grandchildren, Nathan, Rachel, Aleisha, Kristin, Amber, April, Wes, Ashley of Alicia, Verley, Tyler, Kirsten, Jacob, Lexi, Brianna, Ricky, Joey, Miranda and Disaree; and his sister Judy Saltsman (C. L.) of Columbus. He is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren.
