He was predeceased by: his parents, William Owen and Marion Gertrude Settles (Fisher); his brothers, Michael Settles and Steve Settles; and his brother-in-law Steve Yeley.
He is survived by: his wife Glenda Majors; his children, Mindy Settles Edwards (T. J.) of St. Paul, Lisa Michelle Settles of Shelbyville, Brittany Clemons (Harlan) of Waldron and Joshua Owen Settles (Brandy) of Shelbyville; his sisters, Mary Jo Yeley of Indianapolis and Betty Jean Kincaid (Denny) of Shelbyville; his sisters-in-law, Carol Settles and Wanda Settles; his grandchildren, Philip Settles, Kylee Edwards, Kaydee Jo Kapfhammer and Cole Clemons; and his close friends, Red and Janie Baxter. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
