She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Benson and Lillie Benson (Baysinger); her husband Charles Leon Kelsheimer; her daughter Dawn Ann Kelsheimer; and her siblings, Jack Benson, Jim Benson, Raymond, Robert Benson, Mary Sanquenetti and Linda Gates.

She is survived by: her son John Kelsheimer (Linda) of Clinton; her sister Wanda Carty of Florida; her sisters-in-law, Betty Ruth Edwards (Robert) and Patty Benson; her grandchildren, Charles David Kelsheimer and Kathy Jo Smith (Ryan); and her great grandchildren, Mackenzie Smith and Easton Smith.
