James Kay Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Kay of Sheridan, Indiana, who passed away on November 1, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Joseph Kay, Sr. and Eugenia Kay (Peckham); his children, Mark Anthony McGuire, Joseph Patrick Kay and Donna Wilson; his sons-in-law, Brian Kincaid and Joe Wilson; his sister-in-law Suzanne Biddle; and his grandson Eric Wilson.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his daughters, Emily C. Steen of Waveland, Kathryn M Kincaid of Indianapolis and Linda Gail Minnicus (Tim) of Sheridan; his brother Russell Kay of Huntsville, Alabama; and his siblings-in-law, Wilbur Biddle of Florida, Effa Greeno (Don) of Pickard and Rena Biddle of Pickard. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be presented to Riley Hospital for Children.
