Jim Sanborn Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 4, 2025, at the age of 92, Jim Sanborn of Sheridan, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Gordon Sanborn, Sr. and Allie Marie Sanborn (Daugh); and his sister Carol Ann Wallace. He is survived by: his friend Les Pence of Indiana's Honor Flights; his wife Patricia Ann Sanborn (Carlile); his daughter Amy Eve Marie Sanborn (Jennifer) of Pendleton; his grandchildren, Justin, Faith, Olivia of Ashley, AJ, Luke, Amillia and Osiah; his great grandchildren, Ainsley, Bae and Calliste "Callie" Jacquelin "Jack" Alayia; and his sister Allie Marie Sanborn of Pennsylvania.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Sheridan First United Methodist Church (207 E 2nd St, Sheridan, IN 46069). A masonic service will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be presented to the Sheridan First United Methodist Church, or to Maple Park Village in Westfield, Indiana.
