We are sad to announce that, on February 28, 2026, at the age of 86, Dean O. Christner of Shipshewana, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Olen Christner and Polly Christner (Miller); his wife Iva B. Yoder; and his siblings, Wayne, Orvil Christner and Marlene Wagler.
He is survived by: his children, Julie Ludwig of Shipshewana, Juanita Yoder (Rob) of Shipshewana, Jerry Christner (Amber Lock) of Shipshewana and Jay Christner (Crystal) of Middlebury; his brother Olen Christner Jr. (Inez) of Shipshewana; and his sisters-in-law, Gertie Christner of Shipshewana and Nancy Christner of Middlebury. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren.
