She was predeceased by: her parents, W. Wayne Topper and Alice C. Charley; her husband Donald L. Hammer; her son Donald W. Hammer; her grandson Joshua W. Johnson; and her siblings, Alice Parks, Wayne Topper, Ronald Topper, Dale Topper and Carol Wright.
She is survived by: her children, Suzie Johnson of Bedford, IN, Roger Hammer (Cindy) of Knightstown, IN., Russ Hammer (Cheryl) of Knightstown, IN. and Ron Hammer (Suzanne) of Knightstown, IN.; and her grandchildren, Kerry Zoller (Zac) of Leadville, CO, Chris Johnson (Becky), Cory Johnson (Jane) of Bedford, IN, Ryan Hammer (Heather) of Knightstown, IN, Brad Hammer of Indianapolis, IN, Nick Hammer (Ashlin) of Grable, IN, Cassandra Halcomb (Ryan) of Spiceland, IN, Kiersten Robbins (Curtis) of New Palestine, IN, Wes Hammer (Laken) of New Castle, IN and Andrew Hammer of Indianapolis, IN.. She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service (7355 IN-109, Knightstown, IN 46148). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
