He was predeceased by: his parents, Doyle Dewitt and Rosalie Dewitt (Davenport); his former wives, Judie Henry and Judie Dewitt; his brothers, Jim Dewitt, Bob Dewitt, Herman Henry (Ruth), Hugh Tennent (Maryellyn) and Pat Coburn; and his son-in-law Kevin Sheridan.
He is survived by: his wife Maggie Dewitt; his children, Mark Dewitt, Jeff Dewitt (Glenda), Sara Campbell (Nick) and Kenny Diaz (Heather); his brother Mike Dewitt; and his pet Trevor. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made in Dick's name to the Ronald McDonald House Charities.
