He was predeceased by: his parents, Selah Wright and Mary Wright (Bragg); his wife Phyllis Wright (Florea); his brothers, Ted Wright and Ken Wright; his grandson David Nolen; his great grandchildren, Rhea Kleine and Emmie Brooks; and his pets, Daisy, Chrissy, Whiskers and Billy Goat.
He is survived by: his children, Terri Wilson (Roger), Tim Wright (Cindy), Tom Wright (Rhonda), Tonia Nolen (Hubert), Tami Hickerson (Tim) and Tracy Wright (Beth); his pet Lady Bug; and his caregivers, Darlene, Jesse Parker and Tina Johnson.
