She was predeceased by: her parents, Amos Owens and Rosie Owens (Howard); her husband Willie McKenzie; her son Richard Morrison; and her siblings, Earman, Edward Owens, Edith Minnix, Juanita Wolford and Bonnie Shepherd.
She is survived by: her children, Betty J. Brainard (Tom), Ernie Morrison, James Tolson and Billy Tolson (Becky); and her siblings, Earl Owens, Ellis Owens (Dee), Norma Meade of South Whitley and Sue Murphy (Don) of South Whitley. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
