He is survived by: his wife Kim Lee Matthews of Somerset; his children, Trisha Eckman (Aaron) of Wabash and Michael Matthews (Amy) of LaFontaine, Indiana; his grandchildren, Matthew Cox of Wabash, Marcus Matthews (Tabi) of Wabash, Quentin Matthews of LaFontaine, Brayson Eckman of Wabash, Mya Matthews of LaFontaine and Zoey Eckman of Wabash; his great grandchildren, Easton Matthews of Wabash and Maggie Matthews of Wabash; his sister Kim Hendrix of Wabash; and his father-in-law Larry Kendall of Wabash.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service (1241 Manchester Ave, Wabash, IN 46992). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at the Mississinewa Cemetery (8632 IN-13, Wabash, IN 46992).
