He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Karafa (Nemeth) and Andrew J. Karafa. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Takacs; his sons, Andrew J. Karafa (Darla) and Frank J. Karafa (Andrea); his grandchildren, AJ, Lila, Iris, Walker, Anna and Abby; and his brother David Karafa (Shirley). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
