Mersits of South Bend, IN; his daughters, Katelyn Mersits (Mike Pinkowski) of Mishawaka, IN and Meredith Mersits of Chicago, IL; his siblings, Anita McCombs (John Carpenter) of South Bend, IN and John Mersits of South Bend, IN; and his nephew Joseph McCombs (Lindsey) of South Bend, IN.. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins, honorary daughters, and loving friends.
