He was predeceased by: his wife Anna Compas (Himmelsbach); his parents, Benjamin Compas and Sophia Compas (Scherer); and his siblings, Lorena Himmelsbach, Lena Bucher, Charles and Ervin Compas.

He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Gooley (Thomas); his grandchildren, Thomas Gooley (LeeAnn) and Pamela Rajski (Gregg); and his great grandchildren, Addison and Grace Rajski.
