She was predeceased by: her father Johnnie Steward; her husband Douglas Lewis; and her brothers, Richard Steward and Johnnie Stewart Jr. (Grace). She is survived by: her mother Margie Mae Steward; her daughter Stephanie Marie Steward-Bridges; her son-in-law Kevin Bridges; her grandchildren, Kevin Jr. (Ashley), Kasey and Kennedi; her great grandchildren, Chase and Zayden; her siblings, Mary Bethea, Victoria Frazier, Jackie Steward-McNeal, Sylvia Steward, Leroy (JoAnn), Ricky and Donald; and her stepchildren, Doug, Douglas Jr. (Gigi), Jackie (Lance), Dwayne, Doran and Tony. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
A burial was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 8:10 AM at the Riverside Cemetery. A memorial service was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Faith Alive Ministries (909 N Bendix Dr, South Bend, IN 46628).
