It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brian J. Merriweather (South Bend, Indiana), who passed away on April 9, 2024, at the age of 28, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Donald Bentley and Cristina Jara Navarrete. He is survived by : his parents, Miguel Jara and Penny Jara; his siblings, Elena Davis (Joseph Panetti), Michael Merriweather Jr. and Sade Gray; his grandparents, Jose Jara Mora and Garnet Bentley; and his aunt Kelly Bentley.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Palmer Funeral Home - Hickey Chapel (17131 Cleveland Rd, South Bend, IN 46635). The military honors was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
