He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Klimek and Carolyn Klimek (Whiteman). He is survived by: his godsons, Noah, Camden and Nick; his wife Kathy; his brother Brad Klimek (Annette); his parents-in-law, Mike and Rita Kottkamp; his siblings-in-law, Helen Strain (Ed), Mike Kottkamp, Patrick Kottkamp (Becca) and Stephen Kottkamp (Kristin); and his sibling's children, Katie (Nick), Kelsey (John), Andy (Chelsea), Gabriel, Tabitha, Lucas, Teresa, Nicholas, Camden, Peter, Peyton, Makenna, Abigail, Grady, Ian, Sam, Lilah, Carter, Tessa, Cora, Aaron, Kendall and Elijah.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Special Olympics of South Bend or Trinity School at Greenlawn Athletics.
