He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve Joseph and Donna June Chapla (Olson); and his sister Jackie VanDyke. He is survived by: his wife Dawn Beck; his children, Brandynne Chapla of South Bend, Jeremy Chapla of South Bend and Brooke Chapla (Jonathan Shestak) of Albuquerque, NM; his grandchildren, Jared, Skylar, Allyssa, Zeai and Bryce; his siblings, Dennis Chapla (Judy) of South Bend, Lauretta Shiya (Al) of Payson, AZ and Donna Hardy (Tom) of South Bend; and his brother-in-law Ben VanDyke of Kalispell, MT. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
