With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol M. Carl of South Bend, Indiana, born in Battle Creek, Michigan, who passed away on December 15, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Herr and Creta Herr (Weakley); and her siblings, Bonnie Vance and William Herr (late Allene). She is survived by: her children, Diane Becker (Richard) of Walkerton and David Carl (Tammie) of Wakarusa; her grandchildren, Danita Elkins (Robert), Michael Carl (Tonya), Jennifer Gorsuch (Michael), Daniel Wilda (Lucinda) and Katie Carl; her great grandchildren, Mariah Elkins, Audrey Stouder (Isaiah), Regan Carl, Cora Elkins, Chase Carl, Liam Elkins, Owen Gorsuch, Logan Carl and William Gorsuch; her brother Lewis Herr; and her brother-in-law Clifford Vance. She is also survived by her family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
